Strykers Shooting World has the only indoor shooting range in southern New Mexico; come enjoy shooting in a climate controlled, wind-free, brightly-lit range. The range has six lanes, each with its own shooting table and target retrieval system. The length of the range is twenty-five yards, and features distance markers on the floor and walls, including a special set of markers to identify the distance an applicant must shoot at to qualify for a concealed carry license in New Mexico.
Use of the range is only $20 per person, per day, and you may leave and return on the same day for no additional charge. Everyone is required to have eye and ear protection, which must be worn at all times while on the range. Also, all visitors are required to fill out a brief liability waiver and watch an eight-minute safety video before their first visit to the range.
Please note that we do not allow first-time range visitor arrivals within one hour of our normal closing time. The cutoff for first-time range visitor arrivals is 5pm Monday through Friday, and 4pm on Saturday.
We allow all handgun calibers, and most rifles up to approximately 3,000 fps muzzle velocity. AR-style rifles are allowed. We do not allow steel-cored or steel-cased ammunition on the range. All shotgun ammo and black powder firearms are also prohibited. We have firearms available to rent, and if shooting is becoming a growing hobby of yours, we have range memberships available which will save you money compared to paying for every visit.
